NTSB Issues Report on Deadly Crash
New Hampshire Incident Left Seven Dead
The pickup truck driver involved in the June 2019 crash that killed seven motorcyclists and injured three others was under the influence of illicit drugs when his truck crossed the centerline of a rural highway and struck the group of 15 riders, according to a report released in December by the National Transportation Safety Board.
The riders were members of the Jarheads Motorcycle Club.
The pickup driver, Volodymyr Zhukovskyy, 24, of West Springfield, Mass., has been charged with reckless manslaughter, negligent homicide and negligent homicide/DUI, as well as single felony counts of aggravated driving while under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs and reckless conduct. He pleaded not guilty.
A post-crash compliance report by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration found 25 violations of regulations.
