Maine ATV Access Route OK’d

Fort Fairfield Provides Route To Trails

The town of Fort Fairfield, Maine, has approved the use of a street by ATV riders who wish to access the local riding trails.

Under state law, registered ATV users cannot travel more than 300 yards on a public road unless the route is designated by local authorities for that purpose.

Riders may now use about 1 mile of Forest Avenue in Fort Fairfield to get to the local ATV trails.
