AMA staff members Nick Haris and Mike Sayre represented the interests of motorcyclists at the 2018 National Conference of State Legislators Legislative Summit in Los Angeles in August.

The gathering of elected officials provided Haris and Sayre with the chance to discuss distracted driving, motorcyclist profiling, motorized outdoor recreation, lane splitting, automated vehicles, the use of motorcycle safety and recreational funds, motorcycle bans and parking restrictions and landowner liability issues regarding off-highway vehicle use.

American Honda provided a motorcycle for display.
