AMA Board candidates are unopposed
Ehnes, Pontius Retain Seats
AMA Board of Directors members Russ Ehnes and Gary Pontius retained their seats when no other qualified candidates emerged to challenge them before the Sept. 15 deadline.
Ehnes represents the Northwest Region, which includes Washington, Oregon, northern California, Montana, and Idaho.
Pontius represents the North Central Region, which encompasses North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, Michigan, northern Illinois, and Indiana.
The AMA Board of Directors includes 12 members—six elected by individual AMA members, four elected by business members and two at-large members appointed and ratified at the annual national AMA member meeting.

The annual AMA member meeting will take place at
3 p.m. on Dec. 8 at the Hilton Columbus/Polaris, Columbus, Ohio.
AMA members will gather to ratify appointments for at-large seats on the AMA Board of Directors.
The annual AMA member meeting is part of AMA Legends & Champions Weekend, which includes AMA Congress, the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and the AMA Champions Banquet.
