Ups + Down

Up

To Beta USA for partnering for the second year with Quiet Warrior Racing on its Sound Trails Initiative to support environmentally responsible off-road recreational opportunities on public lands. The STI focuses on federal land OHV travel-management planning efforts to improve existing off-road motorcycle trail networks or to designate additional motorized roads, trails and areas. The initiative also includes trail stewardship projects, trail-ethic education and ongoing efforts to streamline the recreational event permit process.

Up

To the Norcal Motorcycle Club for raising nearly $60,000, which the club donated to the North Valley Community Foundation to aid the victims of the Camp Fire that devastated Paradise, Calif., in 2018.

Up

To MotoAmerica, the home of the AMA Superbike Championship, and Fox Sports for striking a deal to deliver 90 minutes of live or same-day coverage of MotoAmerica’s Superbike class on both Saturday and Sunday from each of the 10 rounds of the 2019 MotoAmerica series on FS2. AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Legend Wayne Rainey and his partners took the reins of the series in 2015 and have been growing it since. The coverage on FS2 gives nearly 57 million households access to the sport.
