To ABATE of Idaho for protesting the requirement that some of its members remove their motorcycle club colors before entering the state Senate chambers on March 4 for a vote on S. 1109, a bill prohibiting motorcyclist profiling.

To a Spalding County (Ga.) State Court jury that awarded $33 million to the family of a motorcyclist killed 14 years ago when a car turned left in front of him. The motorcyclist was 26-year-old Daniel K. Mayfield Jr., who left behind a wife and son. The jury apportioned 3 percent of the fault to Mayfield and 97 percent to defendant Vickie Lynn Fain Kennison, the driver who turned left into the path of Mayfield’s motorcycle.
