Don Amador, of Oakley, Calif., receives the 2018 Friend of the AMA Award from AMA Western States Representative Nick Haris. Amador was one of five recipients of the Friend of the AMA Award, which is presented to individuals, clubs, companies or partners who have strongly supported the AMA mission and programs. A longtime AMA member, Amador is well known in the motorcycling community. He is the former western representative of the Blue Ribbon Coalition. In 2010, he started an OHV consulting business, Quiet Warrior Racing. His advocacy often parallels the interests of the AMA, and he has been an AMA booster for many years.
