Northwest, North Central Regions Holding AMA Board Elections
Individual Members Can Apply To Run
AMA members in the Northwest and North Central regions of the United States may apply to run in an election for the AMA Board of Directors.
The Northwest seat is currently held by AMA Board Member Russ Ehnes.
The North Central seat is currently held by AMA Board Member Gary Pontius.
AMA members who live in Washington, Oregon, northern California, Montana and Idaho are eligible to apply to run for the seat representing the Northwest Region.
AMA members who live in North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, Michigan, northern Illinois and Indiana are eligible to apply to run for the seat representing the North Central Region.
The deadline for applications is Sept. 15. The election will be held Dec. 15 through Jan. 15. For application information, email [email protected] or call (614) 856-1900, ext. 1283.
The AMA Board of Directors includes 12 members—six elected by individual members, four elected by business members, and two at-large members appointed and ratified at the annual national AMA member meeting.
